Pirates seek to narrow the league gap

The race for the ultimate Betway Premiership League honours hits up as set out to Orlando Pirates Football Club are to narrow the gap at the summit.

On their way tonight are Golden Arrows FC due to kick off at 19h30 at Mpumalanga Stadium in Hammarsdale.

Pirates trail Mamelodi Sundowns FC by nine points but have two games in hand after playing 14 games to date. A win will reduce the deficit to just three points if nothing changes on the defending champions occupying the apex of the league table. They lay second with 33 points.

Arrows are 11th on the log and a victory will move them two places up from the current 20-point to 23 points on the trot in the 2024/2025 season.
