The spirit of the crowing season is rolling into the capital city of South Africa, Pretoria, yet again.

Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club defended their Betway Premiership League in emphatic style before the final games of the 2024/2025 season.

They beat Magesi FC 2-0 on Sunday, May 18, thanks to Lucas Ribeiro brace which made him the top goal scorer with 16 goals this very season in the domestic league campaign.

Sundowns ended this season with a whopping 73 points in 28 games after Royal AM FC were expelled from the Betway Premiership.

Tomorrow they embark on another valuable trophy hunt in the CAF Champions League against Egyptian giants Pyramids FC.
