Durban hosts the 2024/2025 Nedbank Cup final edition between famous Soweto rivals Orlando Pirates Football Club and Kaizer Chiefs FC this bright Saturday afternoon.

Current holders Orlando Pirates Football Club are out to defend their trophy against their archnemesis Kaizer Chiefs FC in the Nedbank Cup final at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban this afternoon at 15h30.

Chiefs ate upbeat going into today’s encounter in pursuit of breaking the long streak of trophyless dark and bone-dry periods. Amakhosi [Chiefs] last won the Nedbank Cup in 2013. This time around they feel it is an opportune time to lift the jinx off their backs.

Although Pirates have an upper hand in light of recent clashes between the duo, Chiefs are swelling with optimism that they have come too far to falter at this stage.
