Coach Manqoba Mngqithi was sacked by Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club Board due “unsatisfactory results” on Tuesday, Dec. 10. effective immediately.

The club revealed former Espérance Sportive de Tunis coach Miguel De Azevedo Cardoso as the new coach to take the team forward.

Mngqithi has kicked out with Wendell Robinson and Romain Folz who were part of his technical team.

However, coaches Steve Komphela and Kennedy Mweene will remain at the club and join Cardoso’s assistants: Fabio Fernandes, Pedro Azevedo and João Araújo.
