Magesi Football Club powered their way to the Carling Knockout semifinal after elimination at King Goodwill Zwelithini Stadium in Durban on Saturday.

It just took 27 minutes in the first half for Magesi to secure a place in the final with a 1-0 triumph over their opponents.

Tshepo Mashigo’s solitary goal came when he pounced on a loose ball from a sloppy Richards Bay defender.

Yesterday was a very special day for the Premier Soccer League rookies to make the final on their maiden season.Of course, it is not yet over.

They still have to regroup and brace themselves for the Carling Knockout final against Marumo Gallants FC or Mamelodi Sundowns FC playing today.

The final will be held at Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024.
