Richards Bay Football Club face Magesi FC in the first Carling Knockout Cup semifinal at King Goodwill Zwelithini Stadium in Durban this afternoon at 15h00.

Both teams are this game away from the prestigious Carling Knockout final which will be held at Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024.

Magesi are an interesting club in this fray as they are the new arrivals at the elite Premier Soccer League (PSL) in South Africa. To this end, they have surprised many.

Meanwhile Richards Bay are familiar with the PSL competitions and are likely to feel a beat superior in today’s encounter.

But as witnessed from the previous matches, Magesi have carried themselves with aplomb and exceeded expectations.

True to cup-tournaments, anything is possible. The teams that show up with a bit of hunger and determination will prevail.

The winner will play either Marumo Gallants FC or Mamelodi Sundowns FC scheduled for tomorrow.
