The Carling Knockout Cup got off to a fabulous start last night in Durban between AmaZulu Football Club (FC) and Stellenbosch FC at King Goodwill Zwelithini Stadium.

Stellenbosch beat AmaZulu 2-1 in a highly entertaining round of 16 cup match on Friday, Oct. 19.

It was on the 24th minute when Deven Titus gave travellers a lead and Tshepang Moremi equalised for AmaZulu on the 53rd minute.

Just when the match was nearly over, Andre de Jong struck (90+7*). He gave Stellenbosch the ultimate sucker punch to knock AmaZulu out of the Carling Cup.
