Saint Lucian Julien Alfred sprinted her way into the history books in the 2024 Olympics women’s 100 meters in Paris, France, on Saturday Night.

Alfred rocked into that number spot in just 10.72 recorded time to become the fastest female runner in the entire world.

She has earned the Caribbean island its first-ever gold medal in history oftheOlympics games.

Finishing second and third behind her were Sha’carri Richardson and Melissa Jefferson, both representing the United States of America.
