Spain defeated England 2-1 to clinch their 4th UEFA European Championship at Olympiastadion Berlin in Berlin, Germany, tonight.

The quest for the coveted throne begun just in the stroke of the second half with Nico Williams strike in the 47^th minute. And Spain got their grove and pushed for a consolidation. However, Cole Palmer came from the bench to give England a lifeline with a 73^rd minute equalizer.

As if to mimic their opponents, Spain brought in their own super-substitution Mikel Oyarzabal who scored the winning goal in the 86^th minute.

So, the 17^th edition of the European Championship went to a team that won all seven games on the trot. The streets of Madrid and Barcelona will buzz all night long with everlasting championship jubilation.

Rodrigo Hernández Cascante (Rodri) was name the “Best Player of the Tournament” meanwhile L:amine Yamal earned himself the “Best Young Player of the Tournament”.
