Spain overcame a formidable Italy side in Group B of the EURO 2024 at Veltins-Arena, a stadium in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, last night.

Although the Spaniards dominated play with a burrage of foray attacks, the only goal of the game came through an own goal by Riccardo Calafiori (55′).

Italy tried to claw back but they felshortnoup. Thursday’s win took Spain’s tally to six points in two fixtures.
