The competition is intensifying in the second fixtures of the European Football Association (UEFA) championship in a jostle for maximum points to guarantee a berth in the knockout phase.

Italy is on a collision course with Spain in Group C of the EURO 2024 at Veltins-Arena, a stadium in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, at 21h00.

These are the top contenders of this 17th edition of the greatest European showpiece .

So, tonight there is going to be quite a spectacle. Both countries won their first games and fetched three points.

Grouped together with two great footballing nations are Albania and Croatia who drew 1-1 yesterday,  June 19.

Spain beat Croatia in the opening fixture while Italy overcame the hard-to-defeat Albanians.

The winner tonight will book its place in the next round of the tournament.
