Cape Town City Football Club (FC) brought the Mamelodi Sundowns FC 29-game streak without a loss to a halt on Saturday, May 27 at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.

Entirely, this becomes the seventh league title the Pretoria side has won consecutively.
