Tunisia are out of the 2023 African Cup of Nations following a 0-0 draw with South Africa (SA) at Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium in Korhogo on Wednesday night.
That means SA gained automatic qualification while Tunisia got eliminated after mastering merely two points in Group E.
Meanwhile in another fixture at Stade de San Pédro Mali’s tie against Namibia also ended goalless. Both Group E matches were played concurrently.
Therefore, Mali are group leaders with five points and thus progressed outright to the next stage of AFCON.
Meanwhile Namibia completed the group with four points and qualified as the best third-placed country along.
Mali will face the Group F runners up and South Africa the group winners thereof.
