The 2019 Africa Cup of Nations champions are on the verge of not seeing the knockout stages of the 2023 edition.

Standing between the AFCON  2023 next round qualification or exit for Cameroon are Gambia.

This is a Group C tie at Bouaké Stadium in Bouaké, Ivory,  at 19h00.

Cameroon, better known as the Indomitable Indomitable Lions, have managed a signaled point in two fixtures.

Tonight they face the Gambians are merely honoring the fixture since they are already eliminated in the group phases.

Senegal 🇸🇳 vs 🇬🇳 Guinea at 19h00

Still in the same group played at concurrently is the match that will see Senegal lock horns with Guinea at Charles Konan Banny Stadium in Yamoussoukro.

The Senegalese lead Group C with six points and Guinea are second with four points.

Meanwhile the former have qualified for the next stage, the latter need positive results in today’s encounter to be certain of automatic qualification.

For teams that do not qualify outright, there is a window of opportunity to remain in the tournament through the best four 3rd-place finishers from the six groups – Group A-F.
