Africa is guaranteed a team in the semifinals of the FIFA (Federation of International Football Association) Under-17 World Cup in Indonesia. A double-header at Manahan Stadium will see a tussle between France and Uzbekistan in the first game and Mali will play Morocco in the second match of the day.

The first semifinalists FIFA Under-17 World Cup hosted in Indonesia, Germany and Argentina, were confirmed yesterday. The second semifinalists matches will be decided today, Saturday Nov. 25.
In the third quarter finals draw, France will battle it out with Uzbekistan at Manahan Stadium in Surakarta at 10h30 this morning.
Later in the afternoon, Mali and Morocco face off in the fourth quarter finals match at Manahan Stadium in Surakarta at 14h00.
The winner between these two fixtures will face each other at Stadion Manahan on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2023 at 14h00 for a place in the final.
Yesterday, Friday Nov. 24, the other finalists were confirmed. Brazil were trashed 3-0 by their arch-rivals Argentina in the afternoon tie. Claudio Echeverri scored a hat-trick. And Germany narrowly beat Spain 1-0 through Paris Brunner penalty conversion in the earlier fixture.
Therefore, Argentina will meet Germany in the semifinals of the FIFA U-17 World Cup at Stadion Manahan on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2023 at 10h30.
The 3rd-place contest will be played at Stadion Manahan on Friday, Dec. 1, 2023 at 14h00.
Meanwhile, the final, with teams to play yet to be decided, will take place at Stadion Manahan on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023 at 14h00.
