Mamelodi Sundowns stretched their lead to 52 points in their 20th DStv Premiership league after beating Sekhukhune United 2-0 at Loftus Stadium in Pretoria on Saturday.

Peter Shalulile opened the scoring in the 50th minute. Sekhukhune pushed for the equaliser but couldn’t find the back of the net. Only on two occasions where they did but their goals were ruled offside.

Now playing with 10 men after Marcelo Allende was shown a red card for a bad tackle, Cassius Mailula doubled the lead in the 82nd minute.
