The domestic league sees some mouthwatering clashes this weekend as the heat takes its toll towards the tail end of summer in South Africa.

Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club (FC) welcome Sekhukhune United in the DStv Premiership match at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.

This league encounter starts at 15h30, Saturday afternoon.

The in-form Sundowns at at the summit of the log with 49 points at 16 wins out of their 19 league matches in contrast, Sekhukhune are 5th in the league standing, thanks to their 24 points from seven wins of 17 league games they played so far.

They visit the defending champions and have lost only two fixtures since the start of the 2022/2023 season. Sundowns are set to consolidate the lead on top.
