Struggling Mpumalanga premier side TS Galaxy FC has acquired the services of coach Owen Da Gama on a 3-year contract.

Galaxy did not have a head coach since the sacking of Dan “Dance” Masilela in December at the back of a series of poor results. Caretaker coach Zipho Dlangalala has been booted out of the club after a disappointing 3-0 defeat at the hands of SuperSport United FC in Mbombela Stadium over the weekend, Jan. 6.

Formerly with the now-defunct Highlands Park whose status was acquired by TS Galaxy FC in 2020, Dama sounded excited and optimistic about joining what he called a professional club TS Galaxy make.

With 9nle one since that start of the 2020/21 DStv Premiership League season, the club is 13th on the table after 10 games with an accumulative 8-point trajectory.
