South Africa recorded massive Covid-19 deaths yesterday at the count of 844. The Eastern Cape province saw more than 50% of this deadline day in the past 24 hours. The total death toll now stands at 31, 368.

An alarming 21, 832 new Covid-19 infections were also confirmed. There are 1, 149 591 cases that have been reported in SA since the beginning of the pandemic.
