One year down the line, the former South Africa international top striker Bennie McCarthy has found a new coaching home.

He was unveiled earlier today as the new heach coach of the KwaZulu-Natal based-football club, AmaZulu.

The club found itself without searching for a new mentor after coach Ayanda Dlamini stepped-down on his own volition, according to the team statement. 

In the meantime, assistant coach Allan Freese took charge of the club on acting capacity when Dlamini quit, retains his earlier position under McCarthy.
