Former Kaizer Chiefs head coach Ernst Middendorp resurfaced this week at Maritzburg United FC. This is not his first coaching stint at the club. 

Tonight, his new home, The Team of Choice, will be fighting for their first win in the 2020/2021 DStv Premiership edition against SuperSport United FC.

The only league game of the night will be played at Harry Gwala Stadium in Pietermaritzburg at 20:00.   

Middendorp missed out on the title with Chiefs on the last day of the match last season. He comes at the struggling Maritzburg United after they fired the head coach Eric Tinkler.

For tonight’s game, Delron Buckley, assistant to Tinkler, will be at the helm against Kaitano Tembo’s charges – SuperSport.
