Domestic football returns with Arrows hosting Chiefs

League football makes a rebound with five DStv Premiership fixtures scheduled today, Nov. 21.

Saturday | November 21, 2020

The sharpened Lamontville Golden Arrows welcome blunt Kaizer Chiefs at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium in Clermont, Durban.

Kick off is set at 15:30.

At stake will be three points for the 2020/2021 season-long league title competition. All the Premier Soccer League (PSL) clubs emerge from a FIFA (or international matches) break to slug it out for the better part of this year. The stands will be as fans-free as from the time the Covid-19 pandemic visited South African shores.

Chiefs have not had a good beginning to the new league edition. This afternoon, they will be longing to turn the heavy tide. To the extent that they are out of their own territory, that promise is yet a farfetched idea. Nevertheless, they will try to come and contest to the best of their capabilities.

In the contrary, Arrows have not had the worst of starts. To this point, they are in no way under pressure as their opponents are. Their determination this afternoon will be emboldened together by their own home turf to get a positive result out of this match.
