Joseph Biden Sets to Win the 2020 USA Presidential Elections

The State of Pennsylvania’s 20 electoral votes catapulted Joseph R. Biden to become the 46th President of the United States of America (USA), according to CNN and BBC projections. When he is sworn in in January 2021, he will be 78, making him the oldest president.

To enter the White House as the first citizen of the USA,  270 electoral college votes are needed. The former Vice-President Biden took his tally to 273 after winning Pennsylvania on Saturday. Associated Press (AP) set its projection notches higher on 290 electoral college votes.

The 2020 USA President-elect tried since 1987 to ascend to the highest office in Washington of the great and most powerful economy in the world. In his own Twitter account, Biden tweeted that he is “honored and humbled” to this 2020 election victory. Adding that this moment for uniting and healing the divided nation.

Biden delivered the Presidency through the Democratic Party ticket with his running mate, Senator Kamala Harris, who will become the first female Vice-President.

It is not easy to defeat a sitting USA President. The 2020 elections were fiercely contested for several reasons. The tight race in battleground States which the incumbent President Donald Trump thought he was going to romp through slept away as counting of the mail-in votes were counted. 

These are the votes President Trump purported to be “illegal” and should not be included as part of the legitimate direct votes on election day on Nov. 4. 

The USA has experienced a record turnout and Biden amassed a historic popular vote ever in America. Yet, experts far and wide wonder how much of that was about Biden policies than the Americans’ wrath towards Trump and his surreal politics vented through elections to show him the White House door.

Tired of his antagonism for science and spewing venom for those who dared decent, the citizens took upon themselves and said enough was enough with the multi-million businessman-turned politician. Indeed, his politics ranged from unorthodox policy positions to questionable decorum as the USA 45th President. Most people will not care a dime; they will be pleased to see him gone.

American media houses also emphasised a high number of absentee ballots and mail-in votes were at record levels. These are among the votes that President Trump wished not to be counted and threatened lawsuits.

The legal route to the Supreme Court will not be as easy as President Trump made it out to be ND promised not to “concede” just yet. He will have to exhaust the courts t local district all the way to the Federal State before it gets to the Supreme Court, Robert English, Central European Studies Director, said on Russia Today (RT).

With over two months of his presidency, pundits worry house Trump will behave during this transition of power period. Lo and behold, he still believes he is the winner of the 2020 elections.

President-elect Biden a mammoth task ahead. Moreso on foreign and emigration police together with international trade relations. President Trump pulled the United States of America out of the Paris acccord on climate change.

He is highly criticized for his handling of Covid-19 where the USA suffered the highest totals of infected and dead people as a result of the pandemic. To this day, America is still recording high infection rates for Covid-19. His ambivalent approach to handling coronavirus saw him slam the World Health Organisation leadership and, ultimately, withdrew funding away from it.

Donald Trump will go down as one of the few one-term presidents in the United States of America.

While these are some of the issues Biden will face, he is soaking up this victory with his family in Delaware, Pennsylvania – his birthplace, before his acceptance speech on Saturday evening 8.P.M ET. In the meantime, the Democrats are all out in the streets across America celebrating the Biden-Harris victory.
