The 2020 matriculants made their way back to schools today after a 1-week break.

The brief closure was announced by President Cyril Ramaphosa in the face of Covid-19 exponential spike across the county.

The phased-in approach to the re-opening of contact learning will see grade 7s return next week.

The other grades are scheduled for resumption from August 24.

The Department of Basic Education has also amended the 2020 academic year which will wrap up on December 15 (this year.)
