The rugby fraternity was greeted by the sad passing of the well-known SuperSport commentator Kaunda Ntunja this morning, Monday July 20. 

His death was announced on social by a family member, Tando Ntunja – @tandontunja:

“It is with deep sadness I confirm the passing of our beloved brother Kaunda Ntunja, earlier today in East London, Eastern Cape.” https://t.co/g8wKRLQ0uL

The 38-year-old [Kaunda Ntunja] was the isiXhosa commentary for SuperSport. 

The satellite subscriber-sports TV platform, had the following to say on its Twitter account – @SuperSportTV:
