At the back of President Cyri Ramaphosa declaring Covid-19 a “National State of Disaster” on Sunday, South Africa has added 11 new cases taking the tally to 62.
Tito Mboweni, the Minister of Finance, announced that certain funds allocated to departments may be docked. He also revealed that measures to manage and curb the novel coronavirus pandemic will be sourced from the National Disaster Fund.

- A 37-year-old who travelled to the United States of America, Dubai and Mexico
Western Cape Province: 2
- A 39-year-old male who travelled to Canada
- A 15-year-old male who travelled to France
Limpopo Province: 1
- A 29-year-old male who travelled to France and the Netherlands
Mpumalanga Province: 1
