The radarless Cape Town City were outclassed in all departments and and looked lost almost the entire 90 minutes of regulation time. Their 13 points in 18 games leave them separated by a mere point with Black Leopards and Polokwane City while level with Amazuku FC.

The Soweto giant has played 17 games to post 41 points in the second round of the league stakes. Hot on their heels are second-placed Mamelodi Sundowns on 31 points after 16 league matches.
