The 2019 Rugby World Cup-triumphant South African senior national team (Springboks) landed yesterday Nov. 5, 2019 at the O.R. Tambo International Airport to a rousing welcome.

Hoisting the Webb Ellis trophy high to a jubilant legions of rugby fans and SA citizens alike, there was hardly a space to breath. Punctuated unbridled joy was sweetly palatable.

The Springboks lifted the ultimate global rugby cup after clubbing England 32-12 on Saturday Nov. 3, 2019 at the International Stadium Yokohama in Yokohama, Japan.

SA has equalled New Zealand’s record of winning the Webb Ellis trophy three times – i.e. 1995, 2007 and 2019.
