Hardly three games on the hot seat, the unrepentant Chilli Boys have fired caretaker coach Duran “Cappy” Francis.

Francis was roped in after Clinton Larson was shown the dreaded door two weeks ago. Out of five games already played, Chippa had suffered two losses and three draws.

Among the losses under Larson was a tightly contested 2-1 game away to Orlando Pirates in Soweto.

In his first game, “Cappy” drew (1-1) at home against Bloemfontein Celtic and lost (1-0) away to Maritzburg United.

Second from the bottom of the log, Chippa United are on four points from draws after seven league games.
