Orlando Pirates 3-3 Cape Town City FC
Orlando Stadium was treated to a delightful humdinger after Absa Premiership 6-goal fest yesterday afternoon.
The Buccaneers (Pirates) were two goals behind within the starting 10 minutes of the game in their own backyard.
Thabo Nodada’ 7th minutes strike and Kermit Erasmus’ 9th goal gave The Citizens (CT City) a (2-0) dream start away from home. The Buccaneers fans were absolutely stunned.
Pirates regrouped. Happy Jele halved the deficit to one on the 23rd minute: 2-1. Then the redemptive equalizer followed from the goal-poached Tshegofatso Mabaso’s 45th goal before half-time.
The Buccaneers took charge when Alfred Ndengane urged the host to a 3-2 edge over City. Not ready to surrender, The Citizens restored parity with Shane Robert’s 85th minute goal. The exhilarating goal-glut ended 3-3 in Soweto.
SuperSport United 1-0 Amazulu FC
In Pretoria, the only goal of the match was delivered by Aubrey Modiba [40′] to beat Amazulu at Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville last night.

Golden Arrows 2-2 Stellenbosch FC
A Knox Mutizwa [11′ & 29′] brace got Arrows’ noses in front at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium against the Stellies (Stellenbosch) yesterday afternoon.
In the second half, “Abafana Bes’thende” went to sleep and Stellenbosch bounced back to earn a point away from home. Ryan Moon [60′] made it 2-1 and three minutes later, Iqraam Rayner [63′] leveled matters.
Although Stellies are yet to win an Absa Premiership game, they are not doing bad either.
