Pretoria – The host, Mamelodi Sundowns battle it out against city-archrivals SuperSport United in the second-leg (2/2) of the MTN Top 8 semi-final at Lucas Moripe stadium this evening at 7:30.

“The Brazilians” [Sundowns] are returning from a 5-0 CAF Champions League resounding victory away to Cote d’Or in Seychelles over the weekend. Yet to loss in domestic competitions, they are on fire.

Tonight’s opponents, “Matsatsantsa a Pitori” (as SuperSport United are affectionately known), started the season well with the prolific Bradley Grobler on target timeously. Tonight will be a sterner test for either team.

The first leg (1/ 2) of the two-legged MTN8 semi-final, played almost three weeks ago, ended a goal apiece. The cup derby was hosted by SuperSport at the same venue.

Tonight’s match is in the familiar territory, home to both clubs: there must a victor.
