Cape Town City FC is worsening by every outing in the Absa Premiership league. On Friday Dec. 20, they went down [2-0] to Bidvest Wits at Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto, Johannesburg.

It was a one-sided contest. The Clever Boys got an early lead on the 28th minute through Terrence Dzvukamanja.  Cape Town City just pitched to honour the fixture.

It was a matter of time when Wits captain Thulani Hlatshwayo got the insurance goal on 56 minute. The Citizens were pulverized.

Last night’s win takes Wits’ point-tally to 23 in 11 games. Positioned 4th on the log, they trail Kaizer Chiefs (who play Maritzburg United Saturday evening) by 11 points after 13 matches.
